it is joel's very last day of classes. he has been going to classes since he was five. he is now 28. that is a lot of years. so you can understand the magnitude of this day.
i'm not sure who's more excited, me or him. we will most definitely be celebrating hard tonight with some of his closest friends.
joel, you amaze me. i am so freaking proud of you!!
{for those curious, joel is working on his PhD is counseling at Oakland University. he is one hard-working bamf. he plans to be a professor (and counsel on the side). he will start his dissertation in the fall! so hard to believe.

yay for joel! this is amazing!! paul finished all his phd coursework last year, and i didn't even think to recognize it as a big event (you are an amazing wife!!)
