Summertime is flying by.

Whoops, it seems I went on a little unintended break. No excuse really, except keeping up with orders from my shop - thank you to those who have partaken in my 40% off sale! It is still going on, by the way, for a limited time. (Use coupon code YAYSUMMER at checkout to get your whopping 40% off savings). I have actually sold out of quite a few designs & am starting to run low on ruffle necklaces and earrings - so if you've had your eyes on them, I would get your shop on.

Since I've been gone so long, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite Instagrams from my period of absence. If you follow me on Instagram (user name meganlane84), you know by now that I am obsessed with taking photos of food and flowers. The collages below are surprisingly devoid of food, with the exception of my very first harvest (that was a very happy moment for me).

a new lace top | wildflowers picked on a walk with maggs | a little peek into my girly decorating | a new mint dress

My weekend in Grand Rapids,  a city I adore and where my sister and brother-in-law abide ::

beautiful produce at the grand rapids farmers' market on a nearly 100-degree day (i was drenched in sweat) | at the holland beach (lake michigan, i love you) with my sibs | lovely flowers at the market i had to resist buying due to the sweltering heat that would have wreaked havoc on them

freshly picked arugula - my very first harvest from my garden, which is actually growing stuff! | new flowers for our front yard, finally. i got one of the pots at Home Goods for only $7  (originally $17) when i pointed out a chip on the bottom. my mom was proud

  1. You're growing arugula? I'm so impressed! And thank you for that thoughtful comment about being a stay at home mother. The sacrifice is worth it. Getting there is pretty tough though.

  2. looks like a really great summer. I think I would like going to a beach at the lake. I usually get annoyed with the beach b/c it's salty, but fresh water is more my thing. and yay for your first harvest!!!

The summer really is flying by!

Oh, by the way, that mint dress looks gorgeous from what I can see of it. It is so sweet and lovely.
It reminds me of something my best friend would wear. (She loves the color mint.)

  6. Lovely photos! I don't know if there's anything better than photos of flowers and food. Well, maybe flowers, food, and dogs. :) That's pretty much what my instagram consists of. :)
