{Christmas sweets}

joel and i are hosting our 2nd annual Christmas party this weekend!

i am so excited!!

i love being a hostess :)

i'm making a smorgasbord of tasty appetizers and sweets for the occasion. i got started on the sweets last night.

 

i'm hoping to have some leftovers to give as gifts because it is just so dang pretty.

now i must practice self-control and keep my hands off it

 AND the chocolate-covered peanut butter chocolate balls
i made (which despite their deliciousness, i've decided are not quite worth the fuss) until the par-tay.

i'll admit, i've eaten a couple of the peanut butter balls already...
but only the messy-looking ones...
purely for quality control purposes ;)
