{cinco de mayo, oh cómo te encanta}

hello, hello bloggers.
you may notice my blog is looking a bit different.
i have a one-month trial of photoshop, and i started playing around with it the other day.
it is so complex.. i found myself getting quite frustrated trying to figure it out.
i definitely have a long, long way to go.
i did make a new blog button (below & to your right)... feel free to put it on your blog if you so desire :)

anyway, i hope you are all having a fabulous friday so far!
did you do anything fun for cinco de mayo?

joel and i ventured to mexicantown with some friends.
though completely chaotic, it was muy divertido.
i think we waited about two hours to get a table at a restaurant, but it was sooo worth it.
devouring delicious authentic mexican food & sipping on lime margaritas...
what better way to spend cinco de mayo than that?
we even got some tamales to go... yum!

all this yummy mexican food has made me want to cook up some mexican deliciousness
in my own kitchen.
do you guys have any favorite mexican recipes?
i have a great recipe for enchiladas, but that's about it really.
i would love some suggestions!

i'm thinkin' i should probably make these margarita cupcakes for dessert.

Hi Meg,

My name is Grace. I just started following your blog. I'm not sure if I've commented on it yet or not so I thought I'd introduce myself. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I love your shop and all the jewelry you make! So girly and pretty :D I really like your blog too. It all is so cohesive with your style of work. I'm working on starting up an etsy shop too eventually. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and to keep up the good work. Oh, and margarita cupcakes?! never heard of them but it sounds amazing. lol

i love mexican food! you are doing a great job with photoshop. i have it but wow, it's way too complex and i can't get beyond editing a few pictures. i would love to create a blog header and button like you've done. sigh.
