hope you all had a lovely weekend!
joel and i went to a friend's wedding on friday night,
then traveled across the state on saturday to visit the in-laws &
go to joel's cousin's open house. the original plan was to go to two open houses,
but junebug (my car; she's a beetle) started behaving very oddly,
and we had to turn back shortly after we left.
joel's car isn't fit to drive long distances,
and my momma's car was at the shop. oh my.
fortunately, it was ready just a few hours later, and my parents let us use it.
they always seem to save the day.
i don't have any pictures to share from the weekend,
so i thought instead i'd share with you some lovely little things i got in the mail today.
these pretties come from my favorite packaging shop,
i discovered this treasure of a shop awhile back when i was
searching for reasonably priced twine.
i think i let out a little squeal of delight when i opened this package.
the paper flower bouquets are even more lovely and delicate than they appear online.
(these photos certainly don't do them justice).
the seller even threw in those cute little butterflies for free!
i am so excited to adorn bridal shower and wedding gifts with these lovelies.
i love making packages pretty.
here are a few other things from her shop that make me swoon :
speaking of packaging,
i've been working on freshening up the packaging for my shop.
i'm really excited about the new look! i'll share it with you very soon.
(i know, the suspense!)

Oh yes! I'm always hootin and hollaring when I open something like you did. I will have to take a looksie around that shop! I also adore Scissor Variations and Mary Not Martha (whose on Etsy). There are so many pretty adornments to be had out there...
Glad all worked out with the car situation. We've had our fair share of those lately too!
