{this weekend, i...}

although a portion of the weekend was spent cleaning our {once} filthy house,
the rest of it was spent was filled with summery fun. i :

♥ went to my friend lyndee's wedding shower (less than 2 weeks 'till the big day!)

♥ watched youth in revolt with hubby & enjoyed every minute of it.
it was intelligent, hilarious and a bit quirky with a dash of romance. basically our kind of film.
plus, much of it was filmed right around where we live.
i actually spotted michael cera in downtown royal oak
while he was in town for the filming!
and yes, i was completely starstruck. i think i stopped & gawked for a bit.

♥ picked up some fresh flowers, rhubarb and a spearmint plant (for mojitos :))
at the farmer's market

finally had a picnic with hubs  :)
ham & cheese croissants + cheese & crackers
+ michigan cherries + berry weiss beer
= heaven.

♥ made some fresh lemonade with the
vintage juicer i picked up for 3 bucks at a rummage sale last weekend

♥ caught up over dinner with my dear friend flora who was in from
oakland, CA. i.miss.her.dearly.

i ♥ summertime.
how did you spend your summer weekend?

Youth in Revolt was just too funny - so terribly awkward but hilarious all at once.

Looks like you had a splendid weekend!

My weekend was parks and sunshine (amidst the G20 madness here in Toronto)

i have had a crush on micheal cera since arrested development.

mostly because if we got married, my name would be sarah cera. don't worry. matt knows. and has a rival crush on tina fey. what can i say?? we love the awkward ones :)

your weekend looks amazing. and yes, winslo was a willing participant in the whole buried alive escapade. he will do anything we ask him to, plus he was really, really hot from all the running around.

(i thin i just wrote a novel for a comment. hope you don't mind!)
