once upon a time, i was in college.
i met a boy (now my hubby) who convinced me to sing/play in a band despite my neurotic fear of performing in front of people.
so i started singing and playing bells with a band called camerata
(which aforementioned boy later joined, rocking out on the vibraphone.
i believe at its height, camerata had a total of 10 members, but it started with these five).
these photos bring back such nostalgia.
i can't believe how young we look, kinda freaks me out.
i miss playing music with these guys, even though i would get stupidly nervous half the time.
i'm thinking it's time hubby and i start a husband and wife duo...
i think it's time i learned to play my ukulele.

How fun! That is so incredibly exciting and sweet that you did it together. And you totally should start a duo called Meg's Musings. I'd go see you!
PLEASE start a husband/wife duo group!
have you listened to jenny&tyler? they're a cute little hubby/wife duo.
I love this post! That's so fun that you guys did that together before you were married... you should totally start a duo :] [and I super love that photo with the umbrella... adorable!]
you guys should start a duo, that would be so cool!!! i miss college and my college friends, this made me nostalgic!
Great post. And I think you should for sure learn to play the ukulele. For sure.
#1: you are absolutely adorable
#2: the people in the band look like you're having the most fun ever...
#3: if you form a husband&wife duo, make sure to send me a cd! how cute :)
xo meg
yeah camerata!! you all look so young! haha
brad and i just listened to a few songs in the car the other day :)
Do the duo - you must! I just wrote about Tyrone Wells and his wife Elina (my friend from college) and how they put a duet album out :) xo
P.S. I'm giving away a song of mine today!
So fun. I love your pictures. The first one looks like a bunch of carolers at Christmas time...which of course makes me very happy because I love Christmas, and staying warm out in the cold, and getting red cheeks from the chill of the winter wind, and scarves, and carols, and the hot chocolate afterward...:) Christmas also makes me nostalgic! Have you ever seen those Christmas Carol figurines that some people decorate with (not in their yard, but say, a mantle?)? I ask because when I first me Chris, he had no clue what I was talking about...
* Figurines of Christmas Carolers, I should say.
ooooo you were in a band?! So neat :) I have no musical abilities whatsoever, so I'm pretty impressed!
DEFINITELY go for the duo!!!!
aww, that's so cool! You should totally start a man and wife duo!!! I'll come to your shows for sure :)
so cute! i keep telling my husband that we need to start a duo! i love when i get to sing with him in public. doesn't happen too often anymore.
