{happy weekend!}

another week has flown by! this month has been going soo quickly for me;
i can hardly believe next weekend is Easter!! and that we'll be seeing Arcade Fire /
The National in Chicago the next day!!! eeeeeeeeeeeeee

thank you to all who purchased a ruffle necklace(s) via GroopDealz this week!
i am so thankful :) also, so overwhelmed.
also a little bummed that this coincides with joel's break (starts next week)
but at least he will be home with me in the evenings while i'm sewing away :)
lately, he had been home late pretty much every night.

anyway, i thought i'd kick off the weekend with some photos that make me
very happy and hopeful that warm weather (and flowers) will come our way soon.

besides being a ruffle-necklace-making madwoman this weekend,
i'll also be going on a much-needed date with hubby, meeting up with my sister,
& going to an art gallery at Cranbrook to see our friend's final piece for his masters in fine arts.
hopefully i can squeeze a little bit of sleep in there too :)
