this day holds extra meaning for Joel and i because we were engaged this day 5(!) years ago on a romantic carriage ride in snowy grand rapids.
we actually celebrated on Saturday with a coffee date, a delicious dinner and a movie at home. but we did sneak in a lunch date today (before which I was greeted with beautiful roses & a sweet card).
i never did make valentine sweets like I planned, but I did make some valentines and put up some heart garlands around our house :)
hope you spent today with someone you love!
happy love day to you too, meg!
