Around the house at Christmas.

I just love being at home this time of year, with the tree lit and the decorations up. There is such comfort and magic and joy in it. I will be oh so sad when it's time to take them down.

I really look forward to our future kids experiencing the wonder of Christmas. And starting our own Christmas traditions with them. Will definitely continue the tradition of opening up pajamas on Christmas Eve (which we still do). We also still take a yearly photo of all of us "kids" getting ready to turn the corner of the hallway to see what Santa brought us on Christmas morning. Pretty awesome. Won't be long until little ones enter the picture and everything will change! Hard to wrap my head around, but so exciting. This year will be the VERY first year that my whole {immediate} family won't be together on Christmas, as my sister and brother-in-law will he headed to Florida to visit his family. I'm pretty sad about it.. It's not going to be the same without them.

What are some of your Christmas traditions? And will you be traveling for the holidays? Every single one of my Christmases has been spent at my parents' in my pajamas :) No showering allowed.

I don't have any traditions. We've been trying! I really want reading Luke to be one of them.

We do pj's on Christmas Eve, too! We always did as kids so I am keeping that tradition alive. I love that pinecone garland, I may copy you and do that here!

Most of my family lives in my area so we will be celebrating christmas at my home this year. We actually have a lot of family here and so we do the whole white elephant gift exchange for fun :)

I always wanted just one tradition for xmas, but ours has changed and morphed over the years.

We always eat our big meal on xmas eve and for about a decade now that means a huge messy crab fest.

Getting to be Santa for my kids has been more fun than anything. That's holiday magic for me.

I know making christmas traditions of your own are so important and special...you can start them now before you have kids!

I love all the little spottings of your decor, so super sweet. I love my tree at night too especially, I want to sleep on the sofa :o

Love what you've done with your place - very festive!

Like you, every one of my Christmases has been spent at my parents' house. My bf and I do his Mom's place for Christmas Eve. It works out perfectly!

aw, so many fun things you guys do together! I want to see these pictures of everyone peeking around the corner.
So far we don't have any traditions of our own, but maybe in the next few years these will start forming. Yay!
