{DIY chalkboards + my new workspace}

the other week i bought some cheap clipboards from staples

and some chalkboard paint from joann fabric's

and i made myself some chalkboards

to hang above my newish desk,

as well as in our kitchen. 

they're not the prettiest, but they were super easy and cheap.

and i like that i can also clip inspiring pictures/photos on them

once those were done, i prettied up my workspace a bit

and came up with this outcome.

though still small, i would say my workspace has evolved quite a bit from 

the days of using an ikea coffee table as my desk

and sitting indian-style on the floor.

that my back and neck are no longer constantly aching is a glorious thing.

my new workspace is in our bedroom, which means our bedroom has become progressively

and utterly girlified, but joel is ok with it because he has his man cave.

one day, i will have my own woman cave, a.k.a. craft room,

for now, my little corner nook will do :)
