inspired by this beautiful design from rifle paper co., i made this spring/summer wreath last weekend while Joel watched the NHL draft. (this is what maggs and i thought about the draft).
it didn't turn out exactly like i had envisioned but i am quite content with it nonetheless. the colors are so happy and vibrant. it is much more detailed than the last one i made and i really like what the details add to it (though i didn't too much enjoy the time they added to this project). if you'd like to make one of your own but have no idea how to get started, i found this tutorial to be very helpful when i had my first go.
after much thought, i've decided i'm going to make it available in my shop (made-to-order).. despite it not being a pretty of the jewlery variety. i've gotten a lot of positive feedback from the wreaths i've made so i thought i'd give it a try... it should be up in the next week, and i'm thinking i will add some new designs in the next few weeks as well. they are just so much fun to design.
what kind of craft adventures have you been up to lately (or what are you pining to make once you find the time)?
